The book "Adaptive Scalarization Methods in Multiobjective Optimization" provides a comprehensive introduction to novel adaptive solution methods for multiobjective optimization problems based on parameter-dependent scalings. It develops an adaptive parameter control system based on sensitivity analyses to generate high-quality approximations of efficient solutions. The investigations rely on a general scaling approach defined for arbitrary partial orders characterized by a closed, pointed convex cone in the objective space. At the beginning of the book, the background knowledge on multiobjective optimization and scaling approaches is succinctly summarized.
