Adele Stolte (October 12, 1932, in Sperenberg) is a German oratorio and concert singer (soprano). Adele Stolte initially attended school in Lübeck and later in Potsdam, where her father became the superintendent at the Friedenskirche. She received musical training from Karl Landgrebe and began private voice studies with Anneliese Buschmann in Rostock in 1952. In 1953, she married the church musician Wolfram Iwer. In the following years, she developed an increasing concert activity in the GDR and beyond. In 1958, she made her first radio recordings with the Thomanerchor Leipzig, and in 1960, her first record, followed by numerous others, including as a soloist in Bach cantatas under Erhard Mauersberger.
