Ademola Okulaja, born on July 10, 1975, in Lagos, Nigeria, is a German basketball player. Okulaja moved to Berlin when he was just three years old. In his youth, he played rugby at the Berliner Sport Verein and a lot of streetball. His basketball career began in 1989 at the age of 14 with DTV Charlottenburg. The following year, he transferred to the talent development program of TuS Lichterfelde Berlin. In 1994, he moved to ALBA Berlin and was able to secure a spot on the Bundesliga team the following year, which in 1995 became the first and so far only German team to win the Korac Cup.
