Adolf Böhm (January 15, 1937, in Würbenthal; December 16, 2000, in Wurzen) was a German water management engineer and politician (CDU) and a former member of the Saxon State Parliament. After primary school, Adolf Böhm completed an apprenticeship as a technical draftsman and studied water engineering at the engineering school for water management in Magdeburg. In 1959, he became a construction manager for the Schwarzwasser diversion in Hoyerswerda, and from 1960 to 1964, he was the operations manager of the water management company of the city of Wurzen. From 1964 to 1975, he served as the operations area manager at VEB WAB Leipzig. From 1975 to 1990, he worked as a research associate at the Leipzig Water Technology Research Center and has been self-employed with an engineering office for water technology since 1990.
