Adolf Gallwitz (1951) is a German police psychologist and psychotherapist, as well as a profiler at the Police Academy in Villingen-Schwenningen. Adolf Gallwitz studied educational science, medicine, and psychology and has been a professor of psychology and sociology at the Police Academy in Villingen-Schwenningen since 1992. There, he serves as the associate dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, teaches in the diploma, bachelor's, and master's programs, acts as an expert (e.g., at the International Court of Justice in The Hague), and provides consulting for police operations. He is the initiator of nationwide prevention campaigns against sexual violence against children and worked for several years in the United States for federal agencies.
