Adolf Glaser, also known as Adolph Glaser; pseudonym: Reinald Reimar (December 15, 1829, in Wiesbaden, Duchy of Nassau; March 21, 1915, in Freiburg im Breisgau) was a German writer, journalist, and editor. Glaser initially engaged in the art trade in Mainz, then prepared for university and studied history and philosophy at the University of Berlin starting in 1853. In 1856, he took over the editorial position of the newly founded cultural magazine Westermann's Monthly in Braunschweig and held this position, with interruptions, until 1907.
