Adriano Celentano, born on January 6, 1938, in Milan, Italy, is an Italian singer, actor, and television presenter. He is married to Claudia Mori and has a daughter, the actress Rosalinda Celentano. His parents are from the province of Foggia in the southern Italian region of Apulia. He left school after the 5th grade and apprenticed as a watchmaker. After performing as a comedian and impersonator in Milanese cabaret clubs, he began his singing career in 1957 at a festival in Milan. He shaped his acting career through slapstick-like characters, which were sometimes laced with a political undertone.
