"Advances in Analysis and Detection of Explosives" is a comprehensive collection of expert contributions presented at the 4th International Symposium on the Analysis and Detection of Explosives. This symposium took place from September 7 to 10, 1992, at the Mitzpeh Rachel Kibbutz Guesthouse in Jerusalem and attracted 150 participants from 20 countries. The collection includes 50 presentations, including four invited keynote lectures, discussing new approaches, applications, as well as methods and techniques for the analysis and detection of explosives. The event fostered the exchange of ideas and the formation of new collaborations among various laboratories worldwide, which is crucial for the shared goals in the fields of law enforcement, aviation security, and environmental protection.
