"Adventure at the Fox Den" is an engaging picture book that follows the adorable fox cubs through their first weeks of life with uniquely beautiful photographs. Short texts explain what the lively little predators learn while playing and wrestling, or why they often need the closeness of their mother. Many of the approximately 150 color images are published for the first time in this book, including some taken directly from the fox den. The viewer can recognize the different character traits of the young foxes and draw parallels, for example, to our domestic dogs. For many years, our native red foxes have been Günther Schumann's great passion, which he has dedicated himself to with enthusiasm and admirable empathy for these shy animals. As a photographer, he has devoted his life's work to the foxes.
