"Remembering Life" is a practical handbook for anyone who wants to try biographical work with older adults or has been doing it for a long time. The authors share their years of experience working with older people at the Protestant Educational Institute in Munich, where they offer a comprehensive senior program. They describe tested methods and explain the concepts on which their work is based. Biographical work in this book includes biographical storytelling, biographical writing, and also memory work with the elderly and those with dementia. Additionally, there are two detailed reports on two extensive biographical projects: the Munich Story Café and the Zeitschreiber Project, where older adults write biographical texts and present them at readings.
