Dreamer: Last question: What happens to life after death? Guardian: Death is completely meaningless. It only concerns the ego, and the ego is just a small feather on the wing of the eagle. When it falls away, a new one is already growing underneath, and the whole process hardly hinders the flight of the eagle. Dreamer: And what remains of the dreams? Guardian: They flow back into the eye of the Eternal when the last individual awakens at the end of the journey and breaks the chain. That is when the matured soul leaves the protective shell of its ego and begins to dissolve again with the collective creative forces that represent the source of origin, for which man is merely a glance in the eye of the Eternal. Dreamer: So man has no real freedom? Guardian: He has much more: namely a creative illusion of his world. He does not realize that what he intends to do always corresponds exactly to what he will do anyway. Dreamer: Then wanting would just be the trick of aligning his inner striving with the existing energies? Guardian: Well, the future is essentially always also a part of our inner expectations. Dreamer: And where does the journey lead? Guardian: In all directions simultaneously. The sum of all stored experiences and memories is the driving force of fate that propels everything forward, or conversely, the 'future' memory is what affects the present and shapes the past so that the here and now can be rightly 'intended' by people at any given moment.
