The news channel Al Jazeera came back into the spotlight of the international press due to the events of the Arab Spring in the spring of 2011. Since its founding in 1996, the channel has repeatedly faced sharp criticism from Arab governments. However, Western countries, especially the USA, are also dissatisfied with what they perceive as the channel's non-objective and overly provocative reporting. As a result, Al Jazeera often finds itself caught in the crossfire. Correspondent offices have been closed, and journalists have faced hostility. But are these accusations justified? This publication examines the reporting of the Arab channel and analyzes journalistic activity in a challenging international environment.
