Product details
Sabine Scho, born in 1970 in Ochtrup, studied German Studies and Philosophy in Münster. After living and working in Hamburg for a long time, she moved to São Paulo in 2006. She splits her time between there and Berlin. In her poems, Sabine Scho experiments with the intertwining of word and image. She publishes in anthologies and literary journals. Her debut collection, 'Thomas Kling discovers Sabine Scho', was published in 2001 and reissued by kookbooks in 2008, with new poems to follow in the fall of 2008. Sabine Scho has received several awards, including the Leonce-and-Lena Prize in 2001, the Promotion Prize for the Ernst Meister Prize, the Literature Promotion Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia, and in 2003, a residency grant from Villa Aurora, Los Angeles.
