The Yearbook for Life Philosophy is a forum for philosophers who are close to the open discourse of life philosophy, a discourse that has been established, differentiated, and continued by thinkers such as Friedrich Schlegel, Arthur Schopenhauer, Jean-Marie Guyau, Friedrich Nietzsche, Wilhelm Dilthey, Henri Bergson, William James, Georg Simmel, Jose Ortega y Gasset, Ludwig Klages, Georg Misch, Otto Friedrich Bollnow, and others. The theme of the third yearbook is: The Practice of Philosophy.
