Anthroposophical institutions, whether Waldorf schools or Demeter farms, are an established part of society. Nevertheless, their ideological foundation, outlined in the numerous writings of Rudolf Steiner and his followers, has long been subject to criticism. For example, Ernst Bloch considered the anthroposophical movement to be fascistoid.
