Poems from the last twenty years. What stands out first is the range from classical forms like blank verse and sonnet to fragmented language structures and everything in between. The collection is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the coincidences of life. The second part of the poems forms the Divan-e Simurgh. Simurg, originally a wondrous bird from Iranian folklore, was elevated by the Persian author Fariduddin Attar (1110-1220) to a symbol of mystical striving. These poems are dedicated to the spirit of mystical poetry from the East.
