There are numerous types of vegetables that were frequently on the menu of our grandparents but were later no longer offered, mostly due to large-scale cultivation and trade. Today, many of these vegetable specialties are being remembered again, as their original, non-standardized taste and guaranteed genetically unmodified origin are appreciated.
