For a lifetime, Joseph Bitzi has worked on the Muggli farm, first for Father Muggli and then for the son. He never had a choice, not even when the young farmer decided to send him to a home. However, Bitzi is not one to seek a quiet retirement. He has a vision and a plan: the home should become a true home for the people living there, a place that feels familiar to the residents. Bitzi has learned not to let himself be beaten down. The young home director can only watch helplessly as the servant takes action. Even he cannot deny that the people in the home—both residents and staff—are more satisfied.
