Victoria bravely fights her way through life - and it hasn't been easy for her so far. After a traffic accident, she was left with a physical handicap. The job at a café barely provides for the single mother and her little daughter Nelly. But then the unfriendly writer Samuel Winter appears. To Victoria's surprise, he offers her a well-paying job as a housekeeper on his estate. An incident at the kindergarten forces Vic to take her daughter with her to the new workplace for a while. Slowly but surely, Nelly manages to soften Samuel Winter's heart, and Victoria realizes that there is much more behind his tough exterior than she initially thought...
