What do you do when life gives you a tough diagnosis? Charlotte attributes her migraine attacks to the stressful preparations for her wedding until she suddenly suffers a severe seizure. The nurse, who usually helps others, now finds herself in need of care, and a disturbing diagnosis plunges her into a deep crisis. Her wedding to her fiancé Jörg is called off, and his loving support only deepens her despair. However, when her strength is reduced to the point of wanting to give up, she meets another man.
