Support materials for teachers at special schools and other inclusive secondary schools, subject: Mathematics, grades 5-10. Students with dyscalculia are not only found in primary schools; they also struggle with this learning difficulty in lower secondary education. To help them overcome this challenge, this volume offers support materials specifically tailored to the needs of older students. It is no longer about early intervention for developing number and quantity concepts, but rather about concrete exercises that connect the curriculum content in mathematics with the support areas for dyscalculia, thereby helping young people successfully complete school and start their professional lives despite their arithmetic difficulties. This includes spatial perception skills, memory and concentration, as well as motivation and social competence.
