The book highlights the anamnesis as an important component of speech therapy diagnostics. Detailed information on conducting anamnesis interviews provides guidance. This is supplemented by conversation guides for different tasks, age groups, and types of disorders. There are guides for anamnesis with children, adults, neurogenic speech and language disorders, as well as additional forms for multilingualism, voice and fluency disorders, swallowing disorders, dementia, etc. The guides include a foundational chapter, a documentation sheet, and formulated questions for the anamnesis interview. They are based on the ICF and enable therapists to establish a good relationship with their clients right from the anamnesis conversation.
