Anastasia is the ambassador of an ancient people, whose descendants still live in the taiga, largely untouched by civilization and still possessing paranormal powers that modern humans have largely lost. Shortly after the opening of Russia, it seemed that the time was ripe for the world to learn about the existence of these people. In 1994, the young hermit Anastasia allowed a civilized man - businessman Vladimir Megre from Novosibirsk - to come into contact with her, and the following year he became a witness to her life in a remote clearing in the taiga for three days. This encounter would fundamentally change Vladimir Megre's life. As a simple businessman who only knew the atheism of communist Russia, he suddenly found himself confronted with phenomena that surpassed everything he had previously known by dimensions.
