This book was created in connection with an exhibition by the artist in Berlin. Just like there, this book is also equipped with a space using various means. The book presents itself in an unusual way: it can be started from both the front and the back, once in English and the other time in German. Along the way, one encounters texts by various authors on topics such as: the art of forgery, the fiction of photography as a medium of reality, the detective as a truth seeker, history and memory. Besides the texts, the images are important as references to our visual culture. They come from artists such as Rodin, Duchamp, Bonnard, Vermeer, Godard, as well as from our everyday world, and are partly intertwined with the texts, partly scattered throughout like vignettes.
