Andreas Windhuis (1962) is a German actor. He completed his acting training from 1984 to 1988 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Saarbrücken, graduating with a diploma. After his initial engagement at the Stadttheater Augsburg, he performed at various theaters including the Stadttheaters in Klagenfurt and Krefeld, Schauspiel Köln, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, and the Theater an der Kö. He became widely known to the public starting in 2000 as Commissioner Guido Kroppeck in the German television series "Der Fahnder." Subsequently, he played roles in Vanessa Jopp's feature film "Meine schöne Bescherung" and in various episodes of "Tatort." In the 2009 RTL television series "Countdown - Die Jagd beginnt," he plays the lead role of Klaus Frings. In addition to his acting work, he runs an acting agency with his wife.
