Andrej Syhmantowitsch (Belarusian; Russian /Andrei Vikentyevich Syhmantovich; December 2, 1962, in Minsk) is a former Soviet-Belarusian football player and current football coach. Andrej Syhmantowitsch was a member of the first team of Dynamo Minsk from 1981 to 1991 and unexpectedly became the Soviet champion with this team in 1982. In 1987, he reached the final of the Soviet Cup with his team against Dynamo Kyiv. Minsk lost this match in a penalty shootout. After playing for FC Groningen in the Netherlands during the 1991/92 season, the defensive midfielder returned to Dynamo Minsk in 1992. In 1993, he moved to Spain to join Racing Santander, where he ended his active career after the 1995/96 season.
