Andrew Flintoff, MBE (December 6, 1977, in Preston, Lancashire) is an English cricketer. Flintoff was first called up to the England national team in 1998. However, he lacked consistency at that time. Additionally, his fitness was not sufficient, preventing him from becoming a regular member of the national team. Instead, he made only sporadic appearances. It wasn't until 2003 that Flintoff had developed into a significantly improved player and was regularly selected. The following year, he was named one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year.
