Andrew Howe, born on May 12, 1985, in Los Angeles, is an Italian athlete. His mother, Renée Felton, a former American hurdler, moved with him to Rieti, Italy, in 1990 and married Ugo Besozzi there. Renée Felton introduced her son to athletics at an early age and also serves as his coach. Howe's father was Andrew Howe senior, a football player of German descent. Andrew Howe set numerous Italian age group records in sprinting and long jump as a teenager. In 2001, he won the long jump at the Youth World Championships in Debrecen, and in 2004, he won the long jump with a distance of 8.11 meters and the 200-meter race in 20.28 seconds at the Junior World Championships in Grosseto.
