Landscape ecology, as the science of the human-environment relationship in the broadest sense, is positioned as a field that bridges various disciplines. It places the connection between humans, nature, and space at the center of its theory and practical work. The subject of landscape ecology is the landscape ecosystem. This encompasses the total reality that arises from the interplay of human activity, natural conditions, and regional spatial characteristics.
