Product details

Aniara Amos (Rancagua, Chile) is a director and choreographer. She trained as a dancer under Jennifer Lowe and Jean-Lous Dasbert in Heidelberg and at the State Ballet School in Mannheim. She then studied musicology and philosophy at Humboldt University in Berlin, set design at UdK Berlin with Achim Freyer, and opera directing at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. She attended master classes with Peter Konwitschny. Her assistant directing roles (in opera and theater from 1994 to 2002) took her to various prestigious venues, including Teatro La Fenice (Venice), Opéra National du Rhin (Strasbourg), Opéra La Monnaie (Brussels), Teatro Nacional de Sao Carlos (Lisbon), Berliner Ensemble, Volksbühne Ost (Berlin), Schwetzinger Festspiele, Deutsche Oper Berlin, as well as Opéra de Montpellier and Oper Graz.
