Product details

Anita Briem (May 29, 1982, in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic musician and actress who gained international recognition primarily through her role in the film "The Nun," in addition to her work in theater. Anita Briem was born in Iceland as the daughter of musician Gunnlaugur Briem, the drummer of the Icelandic music group Mezzoforte, and singer Erna Þórarinsdóttir, where she also spent her childhood. At the age of nine, she performed as Ida in Astrid Lindgren's "Michel from Lönneberga" at the National Theatre of Iceland in Reykjavík. As a child star, she appeared in three other stage productions and also acted in several television productions, short films, and commercials.
