Anke Sevenich (January 30, 1959, in Frankfurt am Main) is a German actress. Sevenich grew up in Langen (Hesse). After completing her high school diploma, she studied acting at the State University of Music and Theatre in Hanover from 1979 to 1983. In her second year of study, she received a guest role at the Lower Saxony State Theatre in Hanover, after which she was taken into the permanent ensemble upon completing her training. From 1983 to 1987, she performed numerous classics at this venue. During this time, she also had her first engagements in television, playing the title role of Aranka in the television play of the same name by Gernot Eigler in 1983.
