Product details

Please note that this title mainly consists of content that is available for free on the internet. Anna Katschenka (April 3, 1905 in Vienna; February 1, 1966 in Vienna) was an Austrian nurse at the children's institution Am Spiegelgrund and was involved in the Nazi children's euthanasia. During the People's Court trial in Vienna against Ernst Illing, Marianne Türk, and Margarethe Hübsch, Nurse Katschenka was also heard as a witness on July 16, 1946. During the proceedings, Katschenka got entangled in contradictions and was arrested right in the courtroom. In her first interrogation on July 27, 1946, she confessed to being involved in hastening the deaths of children; she also testified that she had given false testimony in the trial against Illing and his associates.
