Pigor has been performing as a musical cabaret artist with various stage programs since the late 1970s, for example, in 1991 together with Irene Rindje in the number program "Pigor und Rindje." His lyrics often reference current events. Since 1995, he has regularly collaborated with pianist and cabaret artist Benedikt Eichhorn. The first program, "Pigor sings, Benedikt Eichhorn must accompany," is continuously updated, with the latest being the tenth program "Volumen X" (2021).

After graduating in 2003, she first performed under the name Annamateur with her accompanist, Hans Petzold on piano. In the fall of 2003, she co-founded the group "Annamateur und Gitarristen" with Daniel Nikolas Wirtz and Reentko Dirks. This formation also produced her first CD. In 2005, jazz cellist Stephan Braun and guitarist David Sick joined. "Annamateur und Gitarristen" became "Annamateur und Aussensaiter." In 2010, Samuel Halscheidt (guitar) and Christoph Schenker (cello) joined, followed by Kim Efert (guitar) in 2011. Currently, Braun and Schenker alternate on cello, while Halscheidt and Efert take turns on guitar.

In 2012, she launched the current stage program "Screamshots, a musical overhead program for Edding, voice, cello, and guitar." Since April 2012, Annamateur has also been recording radio columns ("Hörschnitzel") for MDR Figaro. In 2013, she began the open-air series "Anna Elbe," inviting fellow artists to Dresden. In 2015, she published her first self-drawn book. In Rosa von Praunheim's stage play "Die Bettwurst - Das Musical" (2022) at the Berlin venue Bar jeder Vernunft, which is based on von Praunheim's cult film "Die Bettwurst" (1971), she plays Aunt Luzi, the main role. Neie studied communication design and founded the creative agency "xix" in 1990. His illustrations appear, among others, in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. He has illustrated numerous volumes for Insel-Verlag.
