Product details
The twin town of Annaberg-Buchholz in the upper Erzgebirge was created by mining and is still strongly influenced by it today. Three show mines and other technical monuments, including the famous Frohnauer Hammer, belong to the Montan heritage, but also the impressive St. Annen church with the wonderful mountain altar by Hans Hesse. The period after the end of Erzreichtum, when the former miners began to produce imaginative toys from the Erzgebirge wood, can be experienced, among other things, through the "Manufactory of Dreams". The tour leads to the most important sights of Annaberg-Buchholz with detours to the nearby surroundings. On foot and in one day - of course with the necessary breaks to experience the Annaberg hospitality - you can experience one thousand years of city history in an entertaining and informative way.
