Anne Bennent, born on October 13, 1963, in Lausanne, is a Swiss actress. She is the daughter of actor Heinz Bennent and French dancer Paulette Renou (stage name Diane Mansart). Her brother David Bennent is also an actor. She lives with accordionist Otto Lechner and collaborates with him on artistic projects. In 1972, Anne Bennent received her first film role in the television play "Die Eltern" by Hans W. Geissendörfer. In 1977, she made her debut at the Schiller Theater in Berlin in Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard." After attending drama school in Geneva and studying under Patrice Chéreau in Paris from 1981 to 1984, she joined the Munich Residenztheater. In 1986, she was engaged by the Stuttgart State Theatre under Ivan Nagel. There, she worked with directors such as Bob Wilson, Nils Peter Rudolph, and Axel Manthey, and received awards for her performances.
