Please note that this title mainly consists of content that is freely available on the internet. Annelise Pflugbeil, née Buss, was born on May 3, 1918, in Stettin and was a German church musician. The harpsichordist is regarded as the mother of the Greifswald Bach Week. She studied piano and harpsichord in Stettin with Theo Blaufuss, a student of Straube. In 1938, she married Werner Deutsch (1909-1976). From 1941, she taught at the church music school Stettin-Finkenwalde, which was founded in 1938, and became its deputy director. In 1945, she fled and arrived in Greifswald, where she met Hans Pflugbeil, with whom she became closely associated and whom she married in 1947. Sebastian Pflugbeil is their joint son.
