With the new concept, ANNO offers everything for modern history teaching: Additional meaningful subheadings provide stronger structuring of the author texts. The material pages now form content and/or methodological units and are equipped with corresponding headings. Yellow backgrounds make the pages with elective topics immediately recognizable. The tasks consistently aligned with the EPA operators support the acquisition of competencies. Newly designed special pages (blue background) address the question: "How do we know something about...?". They make the process of historical understanding transparent and promote insight into the constructed nature of history. Carefully crafted pages for self-assessment, consolidation, and review give learners insight into their learning progress. Further tips are provided.
