Fascinated by the scenic grandeur and the extraordinary, largely undisturbed wildlife of the Arctic and Antarctic polar regions, Kerstin Möller has traveled to these icy landscapes repeatedly since 2008. With her camera, she has impressively captured the uniqueness of the local landscapes and her encounters with their fauna and flora. In her illustrated text volume "AntArktis - Ice World Perspectives," she succeeds in conveying the magnificence and uniqueness of these worlds, which are among the most affected by climate change. Her travels in the Arctic have taken her from Alaska through the European parts of the Arctic polar region (Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard, Norway, Swedish Lapland) and Franz Josef Land to the North Pole, and in the Antarctic from the Falkland Islands through South Georgia to the Antarctic continental shelf.
