Anthropology, literally translated as "the study of humans," is primarily a biological discipline with diverse cultural science references. In this current textbook on anthropology, the authors do not reduce human biology to a zoology of humans but also incorporate its cultural shaping. The volume provides an introduction to the key questions and is therefore particularly suitable for undergraduate studies. For the new edition, nearly all chapters have been significantly expanded and updated.
