Nina Göddertz examines the traces of anti-authoritarian children's shops in the life stories of both the parent and child generations. She connects social historical, time-theoretical, educational, and conceptual analyses of the children's shop movement with the empirical reconstruction of biographical designs from children's shop families. The starting point of the study is the founding of anti-authoritarian children's shops around 1968. In the familial generational analyses of children's shop families, the author identifies three different patterns that reveal the intertwining of biography, society, and anti-authoritarian educational concepts with the respective historical context.
