Siegbert Rampe, born in 1964, taught at the Folkwang University in Essen, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and Arizona State University. He has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and conductor in numerous countries. His albums have received multiple international awards, and most recently, he was honored with the Echo Klassik Music Prize 2012 for his recording of all of Mozart's piano concertos.
