When students sew a practical shopping bag or a pretty purse themselves, they experience a true sense of accomplishment. The compact course in this booklet allows you to teach your students the basics of machine sewing. First, the students familiarize themselves with the sewing machine: they learn to operate the foot pedal correctly and experiment with stitch lengths and types. After successfully completing a seam test, they move on to exercises on fabric. Finally, five sewing projects are presented.
