Companies in the consumer goods industry have recognized the potential of inter-company collaboration processes and are increasingly utilizing them to ensure highly efficient goods supply within the supply chain amidst rising market dynamics. This dissertation contributes by developing an inter-company coordination concept that enables real-time management of production planning processes in the supply chains of the consumer goods industry.
