The starting point of this work is the insight that risk management, in its current form, does not meet the demands of today's time. In particular, the increased complexity of products poses challenges for companies, making it more difficult to assess risks, and individuals are increasingly unable to comprehensively evaluate products. The continuously rising number of recalls indicates that products with quality defects are making their way to the market—more frequently in safety-critical areas as well. Therefore, this work develops a modular risk management system, the "Risk Management House," which aims to meet the demands of today: structured in a modular way, with modules that regulate the risk management process itself as well as the integration and control of risk management, based on powerful analysis and innovation methods and requirements.
