Product details
The presented models and process extensions open up extensive development potentials for the adaptation of existing as well as the development of novel tape laying systems with significantly enhanced performance compared to the state of the art. The results of this work provide new perspectives for the use of thermoplastic tape laying processes in the production of shape-retaining and complex, load-bearing, and sustainable lightweight structures with in-situ consolidation and reproducible chemical properties.
