The compacting of powder metallurgically produced gears is a way to meet the high strength requirements of performance gears with a highly efficient manufacturing chain. The dependence of material flow on the various process parameters during compacting is currently unknown. Therefore, the aim of this work is to develop predictive models for the tangential and normal material flow based on the process parameters of compacting.
