For condition-based maintenance, there are challenges in establishing necessary wear models due to a lack of meaningful data and the fact that feedback of machine data from production to the design phase rarely occurs. This work pursues the approach of transferring cross-sectional technologies from ICT to production engineering. To this end, a cloud concept in the form of a reference architecture and the integration of machine learning methods are presented.
