Product details
The goal of the research project Rent-A-Robot, funded by the BMBF, was to develop a comprehensive and consistent concept for the temporary automation of assembly tasks in small and medium-sized enterprises. This concept consists of two components: The technical implementation includes an industrial-grade, integrated, and user-friendly assembly system, which features a feeding device, an interaction module, and a centrally located robotic system. The project demonstrator was provided as a prototype to two user companies from the partner consortium for evaluation and was tested under their respective conditions.
