For this purpose, cost-effective solutions for comprehensive suitability verification of testing processes are necessary. This work presents methods that can reduce the effort for a multitude of suitability verifications based on risk. Using a quality inspection cost model, the reduction of effort is evaluated by applying these methods to examples from the automotive, aerospace, and railway industries.
